Some stories are best told from 10,000 feet. Others demand you get close enough to feel the dust, the salt, the silence between moments.
I’m Nora Feddal, a pilot, sailor, and photographer drawn to the edges of the world: Alaskan bush strips at golden hour, the quiet dignity of rural communities in Sinaloa, the thundering arenas of the American West. My work has been featured in National Geographic, and I’ve documented humanitarian missions with LIGA – The Flying Doctors of Mercy and the Flying Samaritans.
Whether I’m shooting from a cockpit or crouching in a crowd, I’m always chasing the same thing: the moment that tells the whole story.
